• A Cylinder Stripping Bench capable of 100,000 Nm of torque for disassembling and assembling hydraulic cylinders with a bore of up to 1 metre x 10 metres in length.
• Specialised calibrated equipment to allow piston nuts to be torqued precisely to OEM specifications.
• Specialised Sunnen honing machine complete with unique rotary brush cleaner and refrigerated fine filtration unit.
• Automatic Bore Welder, and the latest Sub-Arc Welder with integrated rotator functionality.
• Cutting-edge machinery and technology allowing in-house manufacture of components for a quick turnaround.
• 10M Geminis CNC Lathe: 10 metres between centres, 525mm spindle bore and full CNC functionality.
• Hydraulic cylinder test equipment featuring live hydraulic fluid condition monitoring and data logging capabilities.

The team at K&R Hydraulics has extensive experience in high precision hydraulic cylinder barrel honing. An extensive range of dimensional and surface measuring equipment ensures absolute consistency over the full length of barrels during the honing process, meaning K&R Hydraulics can guarantee finished honed surfaces are within seal manufacturer’s specifications.
