Filter / Dehumidifier for hire
We have a Hydac FAM-45 Filtration, Dehumidifier and Degassing Unit available for both short or long term hire.
The unit operates on the principle of vacuum dewatering to eliminate dissolved water. This process also frees and dissolves gases from hydraulic and lubrication fluids. The unit is extremely economical using Hydac offline filter element technology with its high contamination retention capacity and filtration efficiency.
The dehumidifier has an AquaSensor AS1000 for continuous monitoring of the water content and for controlling the unit. The particle sensor CS1000 is also used for simultaneous monitoring of solid particle contamination. In order to increase the dewatering capacity for high viscosity fluids or for low fluid temperatures, an integrated heater is also provided.
The Siemens S7 series of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) in combination with a Siemens control panel guarantees simple and reliable operation in many languages.

The equipment is designed for recirculative connection to an operating hydraulic system, allowing your manufacturing process to continue undisturbed, whilst the hydraulic fluid condition is restored in parallel.

The unit has proven to be very effective when used in steel manufacturing for the removal of water from large hydraulic reservoirs. It can also be used for the removal of water from turbine oil within the power industry. Within the mining industry it can be used for cleaning up hydraulic fluid in excavators.
