We are leaders in high precision hydraulic cylinder barrel honing. Our Sunnen honing machine with rotary brush cleaner and refrigerated fine filtration is second to none. We have a range of dimensional and surface measuring equipment to ensure finished honed surfaces are within seal manufacturer’s specifications, critical for sealing and longevity.
We can design and build new hydraulic cylinders from scratch or fabricate individual components such as rods, barrels, glands and pistons to meet specific requirements. This includes one off and highly bespoke solutions for unique applications.
Our workshop has the latest machinery including an Automatic Bore Welder and Sub-Arc Welder with rotator functionality for robust and precise welding of cylinder components. Our new Kiheung Rigitrax 8M CNC Mill (X axis travel 8M Y axis travel 1.5M& Z axis travel 2M, Universal auto positioning head, inbuilt turning table & 4th axis rotary table) &10M Geminis CNC Lathe (10 metres between centres, 525mm spindle bore and full CNC functionality) can machine even the largest cylinder components with precision and speed.
We are large excavator cylinder specialists and excel in diagnosing complex failures. Through in-house failure analysis and detailed reporting we specialise in identifying design flaws in hydraulic equipment. We then implement precise modifications during repair or manufacture to extend the life of hydraulic components and reduce total cost of ownership.
Every repaired or manufactured cylinder is tested on our hydraulic cylinder test equipment with live hydraulic fluid condition monitoring and data logging. We use calibrated equipment to torque piston nuts to OEM specifications. After testing and priming we paint as a final step before packaging and shipping. This ensures optimal functionality, leak free operation and validated performance before the cylinder leaves our facility.
